Can you put roman blinds on the outside of the window frame?
Roman shades can be installed on the inside or outside of the window frame. When ordering the blinds of your choice, make sure you specify the correct option that best suits your application. Installing Roman shades requires a window frame depth of at least 1 inch, although A minimum of 3 inches is required for flush mounting.
